  I miss my family so much. I thought I was over it but I have breakdowns every few months thinking about my family

  as most of you know i have been shunned by my family for 2 years because of a photo posted on facebook of me kissing another girl at a party.

  the matter was not dealt with fairly but it is over now and i am 100% certain that jdub org is a cult.

  but i miss my family so much.

  Being disfellowshipped because of an image of merely kissing a girl!!! Wow!!. Then that confirms what others including myself have come to realize or suspect. The elders these days are quicker to disfellowship and slower to reinstate.

  I have it on good authority that elders have these so called all weekend, 2 day elder courses. That is where they are trained and conditioned to enforce even more rigid rules. Like that of quicker to disfellowship and slower to reinstate, without even the rank and file knowing.

  i was sitting at the recent circuit assembly that i attended, (the things i do for sis blues) and the baptism talk was under way .

  i admit that my mind was more on my imminent packed lunch and flask of coffee but i distinctly heard the speaker make the statement that heads this thread and cite a wt reference.. you what !

  i was shocked....... how can they possibly make such an arrogant statement ?

  I think what that WT meant was only baptized ones only have the privilege of praying audibly in front of people, offering prayer before a group. They should make things more clear, discernable so people will understand more easily instead of having to spell things out.

  They claim they don't pass a plate. Well hypocritically they do in a way by imposing on people by subtly asking for a donation.

  i just found an archive of one of anthony morris's talks back from 1916, (yes the man is that old), about facial hair.

  obviously he recycles his talks as it will sound very similar to a recent rant of his!

  "it's in america, and it's in europe, they have the metrosexual look.

  we just had an elder drop by and invite my wife to the kh with a 21 day old baby.. i thought it was kind of classless.

  Why do elders think that they can come by out of the blue and wake a baby who is sleeping? That's because elders think they are above courtesy. Which of course they aren't.

  I've always understood that the reason why Rutherford imposed the fallacy of the ''no beards policy'', was because Judge Rutherford didn't care how beards looked. Or because Rutherford couldn't grow a full beard, and that maybe he was jealous of men with full beards.

  Peaceful Revolution in Romania and Taxing Religions

  some of you might have also heard about that terrible club fire that killed 32 people and injured hundreds.

  the whole thing happened because the club owners bought the officials to allow them to operate even though the location was a fire hazard.

  having now been out of the cult for a few years, it really shocks me about some of the nonsense i used to believe in.

  like for instance, christ ruling in the midst of his enemies, but doing so invisibly.. let's let that one sink in for a minute.

  you've supposedly got a king who is ruling for a kingdom, but it is an invisible rule.

  i didn't know what to expect but i was really excited to be invited to accompany my daughter and her closest friends to a large (300+) party held at a famous hot spot.
